May 3rd, 2010

Ensight Canada is very pleased to announce that Jacquie LaRocque will today assume her new responsibilities as Managing Director of the firm in Ottawa . We are excited to have someone with Jacquie’s wealth of experience and expertise leading our Ottawa team.

Jacquie has distinguished herself in both the public and private sectors over the past 15 years: she has been chief spokesperson to a federal Minister of International Trade, a leading private sector advocate on high-profile public health and policy issues for a major vaccines and pharmaceutical company, a federal public servant in successively senior roles in both policy and communications, and an executive with a leading industry association in Ottawa.

Jacquie is a well-travelled, seasoned, bilingual leader with a proven track record in strategic and operational communications both internationally and domestically. For her efforts she received the “Best Communications Director” award from Politics Watch and has been named a Top 100 lobbyist by the Hill Times for three straight years.

Jacquie’s presence in the Ottawa community can be felt through her extensive involvement in community and not-for-profit activities, to which she lends significant time and energy. She sits on the Board of the Government Relations Institute of Canada and the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa among others.
